Personas & AI Library
Personas are your AIs — each with its own identity, knowledge, and rules. The AI Library is where your assets live.
In Tyrex AI, an AI persona is the unit of everything. Each persona is an AI you own: its own identity (from the KNOW interview), its own private knowledge base (from GATHER), its own tools, and its own model settings.
Personas are the main entity
- Every chat is with a persona.
- Every dataset you attach belongs to one or more personas.
- Every tool you enable is scoped to the personas allowed to use it.
- Sessions are tied to a persona — switch persona, switch context.
Your account always has at least the default Tyrex AI. Free plan includes 1 persona; Pro includes 3; Elite includes unlimited.
Where to find everything
- Personas (sidebar) — your AIs. Click one to chat, edit its profile, manage its data and tools, or re-interview.
- Works → AI Library — all your assets in one place: personas, data packs, knowledge packs, and tools.
- Create (sidebar) — build a new persona through the wizard.
The default Tyrex AI persona is created for you when you sign up, so you always have something to chat with.
The AI Library
The AI Library is where your assets live — everything you own in one place:

Attaching data to multiple personas
Data is not locked to one AI. When you own a dataset — uploaded or bought — you can attach it to several personas at once:
- Open the dataset in your Library (Works → AI Library).
- Choose the personas you want to give access.
- Done — each persona can now search it, scoped privately.
This is how one good knowledge pack (say, a well-built FAQ) can power your customer-service AI and your internal assistant without duplicating anything.
Bought data is a copy — yours
When you buy a dataset or knowledge pack in the Marketplace, you receive your own copy. It's attached to your account's storage, and it stays yours even if the seller removes the listing. Attach, edit, and reuse freely.
Managing personas
From Personas (sidebar):
- Create — build a new persona from the KNOW interview (or use the Create wizard).
- Edit — open a persona, update the profile, add or remove data, enable tools.
- Duplicate — fork an existing persona as a starting point.
- Delete — remove a persona and its scoped data (storage is freed).
Selling
Personas and data you own can be listed in the Marketplace — templates, datasets, tools, or even a complete persona pack. See Marketplace.
